It has taken fifteen years to go from those two words to publication. Seven books are now written, following David’s unusual career from 2008 to the present day. The eighth book is now under way, by which time David has been made to change his views about what may or may not be possible. Some say he is less cynical, other say he is merely older and wiser.
It has certainly been an interesting journey, taking him from the splendours of the Scottish Highlands and Isles, to a ship docked in Southampton. A wartime secret sees David caught up in foreign affairs, and the simple story of a grey lady becomes overshadowed by something much more recent in a luxury hotel.
David’s career began with a surprise offer to appear on a television programme, from which he moved on to the new interest in researching claims of hauntings in hotels and similar places that courted those curious in ghosts. This is what he and his wife Janet were doing when they received an email, reporting strange dreams and fantasies of a boy in a quite ordinary house in Northumberland. This is where we join David and Janet, as they uncover the mysterious story of another boy who once lived in that house.
A boy called Oliver.
Find out more about David.
