An introduction to Project Maybe?
The name gives a clue to what this is all about. I call this Project Maybe for a few reasons. It is for people who think that maybe there is something as yet unexplained behind some of the stories that are told, just maybe. It also fits with my approach of keeping an open mind, or at least trying my best to do so. We are all swayed by beliefs that we pick up as baggage as we go through life, but I intend to put those to one side as much as I am able. And also, I have no idea yet where any of this will lead. That will depend on the picture or pictures that form over time.

What I am looking for.
I am hoping to find true stories, experienced and told without added drama. Things that felt real at the time, but for one reason or another do not make sense. It is very important that they were experienced unexpectedly, and without any sort of preconditioning. They could make you think of ghosts, what is called extra-sensory perception, anything unusual at all. Maybe you don't know what to think about a curious event, it really doesn't matter.
It is probably easier to describe what I am not looking for; Anything found on a ghost hunt or tour. That does not rule out experiences from locations reputed to be haunted if what happened was unexpected and not already known to you. Nothing to do with UFOs, and nothing to do with spiritualism, from seances, or based on any assumption of spirits. UFOs and spiritualism are entirely different subjects, not related to what I am interested in. Nothing detected by gadgets, meters or photographs. I am only concerned with lived experiences, things that involve what people believe they have sensed in some way.
Anything else is fine, no matter how strange or unreal it may seem now, as long as it appeared to be real at the time. My own couple of very ordinary (possibly) paranormal experiences don’t make any sense at all, but this of course is exactly why we regard such things as possibly paranormal. It doesn’t have to be your own story, it can be a story you have been told by somebody else who experienced something, somebody you have complete faith in.
